Located with easy access to local and regional attractions and events. We will try to present some of the highlights below. Remember these are just some of our favorites and is not an exhaustive list of the many jewels to discover in our Sonoran Desert Home.

Sahuarita/Green Valley

  • Manuel's Restaurant - this gem of a family run Mexican restaurant is where you will find all the locals each evening
  • Green Valley, Arizona, is much more than a booming Arizona retirement community. With nine golf courses, shopping plazas, dozens of clubs and volunteer organizations
  • San Ignacio Golf Club - Semi-Private - this par 71 facility built in 1989, offers yardages from 5,200 to 6,704
  • The Titan Missile Museum is the only publicly accessible Titan II missile site in the nation. When you visit the Titan Missile Museum, you travel through time to stand on the front line of the Cold War.
  • The Weather Channel - Climatological data, Monthly Averages of temperature and rainfall for Sahuarita, AZ

  • Argenziano's - Italian dining worth the 15 minute drive
  • Agave Restaurant - fine dining in the Desert Diamond Casino
  • Desert Diamond Casino - a complete entertainment destination offering 500 slot machines, live blackjack and keno.
  • Tombstone, Arizona -the town too tough to die
  • Bisbee Arizona - tourism, attractions, art, shopping, dining and lodging.
  • Kartchner Caverns State Park - The Kartchner Caverns story is one of amazing discoveries...both past and present. Stand where the discoverers first entered the cave. Marvel at the strange and colorful formations.
  • Colossal Cave -which is on National Register of Historic Places, has been inhabited by prehistoric peoples as well as train robbers.
  • Saguaro National Park - This unique desert is home to the most recognizable cactus in the world, the majestic saguaro.
  • Mt. Lemmon, A mountain resort area offering dining, lodging, shopping, camping, hiking, real estate and skiing just to name a few.
  • Kitt Peak National Observatory - was selected as the site for a national observatory after a three-year survey involving more than 150 mountain sites across the United States.
  • Whipple Observatory - The Fred Lawrence Whipple Observatory (FLWO) is the largest field installation of the Smithsonian Institution Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) outside Cambridge, MA.
  • Nogales, Mexico - Just across the border from Nogales, Arizona, the two cities share the same name but the cultures have evolved separately. Fill your trip to Mexico with its traditions, wonderful shopping and great food.

  • Phoenix - about 2.5 hours north west on the interstate
  • Sedona - about 2 hours beyond Phoenix
  • Grand Canyon - In the north west corner of Arizona
  • Las Vegas - Just across the border into Nevada
